Curl Master have today been announced as a partner of Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025, which will see this year’s stars exclusively try the Curl Master ONE at the Soccer Aid for UNICEF Training Week – as well as at the Fan Zone on match day. The sponsorship follows this week’s launch of the Curl Master ONE, a unique football training device designed to improve a football player’s ball curling technique.

Curl Master

The partnership is a natural fit for Curl Master, who are targeting footballers aged 7+.

Combined with the cultural relevance of Soccer Aid for UNICEF and its credible link to cause presented the ideal partnership opportunity for Curl Master, who will receive a wide-ranging set of activation rights, including in-stadium branding and digital deliverables.

Speaking about the partnership. Curl Master Founder, Frank Raffa, said: “Partnering with Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025 is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us. For years now, it has been a cultural phenomenon and as a new-to-world brand we are looking forward to working on some exciting activations alongside them and their participating talent.”

Tom Peacock, Head of Partnership Generation at Soccer Aid Productions, added: “We are all excited to be working with Curl Master as an Official Partner for Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025. Integrating their innovative products into our Training Week and Fan Zone on matchday will elevate the experience for players and fans alike. We look forward to working closely with the team to bring the partnership to life.”

Rob Hughes, co-founder of Blueprintx who are Curl Master’s retained marketing agency, commented: “For a new-to-world brand like Curl Master, the platform of Soccer Aid for UNICEF was the perfect fit, versus a traditional football sponsorship platform. It offers the brand separation in a clustered sponsorship landscape, delivered during a period of ‘clear sponsorship water’ where audiences are receptive to lighter football content that bridges into entertainment. Perfect for a-new-to-world brand and product to stand out as a launch moment and platform. Additionally, whilst Soccer Aid for UNICEF, at its core, is a footballing event – it is a footballing event which is played by amateurs, professionals and everything in between, which is truly reflective of the Curl Master ONE product; one for all ages, abilities and different stages of learning.”

About Curl Master

The Curl Master ONE is designed to improve footballers’ ability to curl the ball and does so by mimicking the inflight curving ball, creating a spin on the ball when kicked and is backed by vigorous testing and research conducted at Loughborough University into how to master the art of curling the ball.

Used by the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Erin Cuthbert, the device supports the fundamental skill for any aspiring football player of age 7+, of curling the ball to increase goal scoring potential.  The device allows you to select the spin direction and speed as desired. The spin supports the development of muscle memory whilst allowing you to concentrate on your kick technique and focus on kicking the ball in the right spot to get the heigh of the shot and concentrate on accuracy.

Curl Master conducted product testing with Loughborough University, and students from the university were tested on the Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) they were able to achieve when kicking the ball before using the product, versus after, which illustrates sensory provocation and muscle memory development:

Enjoy experimenting with different angle approaches, your kicking technique and swing wrapping your foot around the ball and in different areas of the ball to see what works best for the results looking to be achieved.
